Committed to protecting the rights of individuals, families, employees, retirees, professionals, farmers and small businesses they provide specialist advice across a range of areas including Family Law, Injury Law, Commercial Disputes and Business Advice, Unfair Dismissal, Conveyancing, Wills and Estate administration including disputed estates.

The role:

This position is responsible for driving business growth through effective sales strategy and account management. The role involves the promotion of the Firm’s services and value proposition to identify and develop profitable business with new and existing clients, building networks and engaging with existing contacts and clients to build on the Firm’s referral base. It is responsible for managing the referral process to ensure the smooth transition from the referral partner to the Firm.

Tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Uncovering new business and referral opportunities;
  • Building, nurturing and sustaining a pipeline of new business opportunities;
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key contacts;
  • Qualifying sales opportunities, negotiating and closing sales;
  • Managing the integration of new clients into the Firm’s systems and processes;
  • Regular competitor and market analysis including monitoring market trends and opportunities;
  • Developing reporting in-line with the Firm’s expectations, including recording, tracking and measuring all client interactions.

Skills and experience requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Law, Business or a related field;
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience;
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets;
  • Strong negotiation skills;
  • Good commercial acumen and comprehension of business operations/processes;
  • High level computer skills (MS Office suite);
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
  • High level customer service skills and professionalism;
  • Strong work ethic and shows initiative;
  • Excellent time management and organization skills;
  • Able to work as part of a team as well as autonomously.
