We are currently recruiting for an Administration Assistant to join their team in their Adelaide office. This is a varied role and you will work with the professional team of lawyers and support staff to keep the firm running smoothly. There are career advancement opportunities to develop your skills and move into a Paralegal pathway.

The role:

Tasks include, but are not limited to -

  • Overflow of Reception duties including answering and allocating incoming phone calls;
  • Greeting clients and other visitors on arrival;
  • Co-ordinating conference and meeting rooms;
  • Providing administrative support to the Paralegal and Legal teams;
  • Record keeping for client matters including file opening, custody and archiving;
  • Client liaison including arranging meetings, witnessing documents and client follow up on return of documents;
  • Scanning of incoming & outgoing mail;
  • Invoicing and accounts and debt management;
  • Ordering stock;
  • Photocopying and Filing;
  • Other general administrative/reception duties including maintaining presentation of the Reception area, receiving deliveries and ordering stock.

Skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a corporate environment;
  • Accounts experience desirable;
  • Professional phone manner;
  • High level computer skills (MS Office suite);
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
  • High level customer service skills;
  • Strong work ethic and shows initiative;
  • Excellent time management and organization skills;
  • Able to work as part of a team as well as autonomously.
