An exciting role exists for a full-time, permanent position working for a private physiotherapy clinic as Clinic Team Leader across four locations. If you do not have leadership experience, but leadership is your future, we have career pathways that can support you to become involved within the leadership team.

The Team Leader role is to effectively manage the Clinic’s operations to ensure that both operational standards and service standards are met. This will involve facilitating operational requirements of the position, working in a clinical and managerial role with the directors, hospital team leader and physiotherapy and administration staff.

Duties:

Lead, manage and monitor all physiotherapy staff within the team to promote high patient care standards in all clinical areas.

Determine and implement the strategic vision for the Physiotherapy Clinic team.

Implement effective leadership of change management initiatives.

Appropriately represent Physiotherapy within the organisation at relevant meetings and forums and external to the organisation.

Coordinate research and program evaluation activity within the Clinic Physiotherapy team in conjunction with the Physiotherapy Director and Physiotherapy Hospital Team Leader.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Current AHPRA registration.

Minimum 5 years relevant postgraduate physiotherapy experience and knowledge of physiotherapy management and clinical service provision in a healthcare setting.

Acknowledged by their professional peers as a clinical expert and / or has a broad and relevant clinical experience in their area of expertise.

Demonstrated effective leadership, management and networking skills.

Extensive experience in the supervision and professional development of physiotherapists, students and support staff.
