Our Client, a professional service para planning business, is currently recruiting for the unique and exciting role of Quality Coach, due to the success and growth of the business. The business provides external para planning services to support Financial Planners across Australia. The focus is on providing a high level of service and quality SOA’s in a timely and efficient manner. They have built their own software system and introduced their own internal training programs to ensure they consistently meet the high standard their clients are used to.

If successful, your role as Quality Coach will be pivotal within the business. The main focus will be managing relationships with over fifty para planners, and running the work-flow for the Para planning team. This would include the induction, training and set-up of new para planners. Whilst maintaining the para planner work-flow, you will also be the conduit between the team and the financial planner or the financial planning firm. Your role will also be responsible for settling the Para planner SOA’s, so it is critical you have in-depth technical experience within the financial planning arena, and have a solid understanding of the current industry regulations.

Essential Skills and Role Requirements:

A proactive professional, who is capable of thinking independently and working collaboratively, with excellent technical experience in para planning services.

Involvement in the Financial Planning Industry for a minimum of 5 years.

An eye for detail.

A professional, happy, driven, confident, self-motivated person who wants to be part of a team.

Most importantly, a focus on delivering Outstanding Client Service, with a real focus on a genuine, passionate desire to help clients above all else.

The ability to grow and learn.

A hands-on practical person, who is not above working hard.

Ability to manage people issues (i.e. performance, grievances, training and workforce change etc.)

Develop technical and training materials including webinars.

Ensure effective and efficient processes are in place across all parts of the practice, ensuring consistency with the broader Advice business and continued cost management.

Provide day-to-day technical support to Para planners.

Responsible for all facets of the businesses(s) management including, but not limited to: people, processes, new client (advisers and para planners) on boarding, existing client servicing and retention, growth, cost management, profitability, compliance culture and ad-hoc projects.

Formulate and implement business strategies and operating plans that flow from the overall business planning process.

Ensure advice is delivered in accordance with advice standards, ensuring adherence to compliance and client service standards.

Experience Required:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in the financial planning industry.

Strong industry knowledge and proven leadership of Financial Advisors is a MUST.

Experience in leading financial advisors on a significant change journey.

High-level interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence and empathy.

Qualifications Required:

Diploma Financial Planning qualification as a minimum, as well as relevant degree desirable.

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, desirable.

Experience with Xplan, Coin, Midwinter, Lastpass, Dropbox, Office 365, Gmail and Google Apps software.
