Financial Planning – Client Service Administrator

Our client is a long established and highly respected financial planning practice. Located in the CBD they cater to a wide-ranging client base, with a high commitment to personalised and professional service. Reporting to and working directly with one of the practice's Senior Adviser/Business Principals, you will be responsible for providing excellent client service and efficient administrative support to existing and prospective clients.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

* Acting as the client liaison to approximately 150 existing clients and being a point of contact for the day-to-day queries from these clients relating to administrative issues;
* Assisting with existing client reviews, including scheduling, pre-review preparation and assisting with the production of Statements of Advice;
* Following up and completing all administration associated with the implementation of advice;
* Diary management for the Senior Adviser;
* Liaising with third parties such as fund managers, superannuation funds and insurance companies;
* Data base management.

The successful candidate will have strong client service and administrative experience; ideally possess a working knowledge of financial planning systems together, with an ability to develop strong client relationships.

To be successfully considered for this role you require;

* Excellent written and communication skills with a high attention to detail;
* Professional presentation and phone manner;
* Strong organisational skills, with an ability to multi-task;
* Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment;
* A proactive attitude;
* Previous experience in Financial Planning;
* Previous experience with Xplan is essential;
* Basic knowledge and/or experience in Self-Managed Super;
* DFS qualification would be highly regarded.
