Our client is a SA family-owned and operated store specialising in 4WD accessories and the fitment of roof-rack systems, cargo barriers and van fit-out solutions. They are currently looking to appoint an experienced Fabricator / 4WD Accessories Fitter.
We are seeking an organised and self-motivated individual to join this close-knit team where you will be recognised for your experience and contribution to the business and feel like a member of the family. Applicants should possess relevant previous experience in fabricating and fitting 4WD accessories. A current driver’s licence and ability to drive a manual vehicle is essential.

Interested candidates must be familiar with the 4WD market and possess a genuine interest in furthering their knowledge and experience. The successful applicant must be available to work full-time, 8.15 am to 5.15 pm Monday to Friday, with a rotating Saturday roster of 8.15 am to 1.00 pm and after-hours training when required.

- Fitment of roof rack systems (Rhino, Thule, Rola etc.)
- Van fit-outs and cargo barrier installations
- Sheet-metal fabrication and welding
- Receiving and dispatching of goods
- General site and workshop maintenance
- Assisting with heavy lifting
To be successful you will possess the following attributes:
- Mechanical/fitment knowledge and experience (preferably with Rhino, Thule, Rola products)
- Manufacturing experience with part-fabrication and welding
- Current industry knowledge and awareness
- Forklift licence an advantage
- High level of safety awareness
- Excellent communication skills and phone manner
- Team player, with a flexible, enthusiastic approach to working in all facets of the business
- Motivation and enthusiasm to achieve deadlines
- Strong sense of initiative and ability to be responsive to customer and business needs
- Current driver’s license and ability to drive a manual vehicle
- The successful applicant will be extremely motivated, keen to learn and will have the ambition and drive to provide a high level of quality services to our customers in all aspects of the business.
